My Trek 1.2 27-speed hails from Bert and Mac’s in Lethbridge, AB. I use a Bell E20 wired computer, and just throw on a couple of small but bright LEDs and small clip-on wheel reflectors when I’m out after dark. Alberta’s side reflector law is dumb, but I’ll cope. My double-sided SPDs work with my Shimano MT51 SPD shoes. I carry a doubleshot pump, and a seat bag containing pre-glued patches, a spare tube, lights and reflectors. It’s a tight fit, because the bag is very tiny. The name comes from a super-powered crimefighter from the golden age of comics. He was blue. He fired bolts. A’yup. |
