Unfortunate weather, high 30's and raining. Not our best choice to ride outside today, should have put in a movie and rode the rollers. Oh well. |

82.80 mi in 04:51:34 hours at 17.04 mi/h on Fuji Marseille. [Cycling] Day two of STP. Started at 6:30 am again and joined back up with the main route in Vader. This day was much more enjoyable than Saturday though still just as hot. It was in the 90's by 10:45! Riders were a lot more spread out and there were less stoplights to make things congested. Made it to Portland by 12:45 and after the beer garden and bus ride, we arrived in Bellingham at about 8:30. All and all a great weekend and a great ride. |

To sum up the ride, it was ridiculously busy (both bikes and cars); ridiculously hot (in the 90's); and ridiculously flat (only two "hills" until the last 20 miles). That being said it was an awsome ride. Started at 6:30 am from Husky Stadium and ended at Toledo High School. Neither Gretchen's or my legs were very sore but buns did hurt pretty bad from sitting in the saddle that long and our necks were really sore from being hunched over and looking behind us so many times to see if it was safe to pass slower riders. After all the riding and food stops we finished off the day at 4:45 pm. |

I wasn't going to ride hard today but I saw a couple of riders ahead of me and decided to pass them, then I didn't want to let them pass me back so I had to ride harder than planned. Oh well. |
