Mon, Apr 9, 2012 - 30.25 mi [Cycling] |
30.25 mi in 01:58:00 hours at 15.38 mi/h on Specialized Tarmac Pro. [Cycling] Weather was absolutely perfect at 80 degrees, which is my favorite temperature. Not cool and not warm, but a perfect mixture in between. I went south of town this time to Dos Hermanas. The town was really cool but not good for cycling. It's all one-way roads and it took me a while to get out of the city. I was intending on continuing on N-IV but took a wrong turn and took A-3113 into Dos Hermanas. 4:00-6:20 p.m. |

Sun, Apr 8, 2012 - 34.95 mi [Cycling] |
34.95 mi in 01:57:00 hours at 17.92 mi/h on Specialized Tarmac Pro. [Cycling] Haven't ridden in forever because I've been traveling so much, so I took off on a beautifil afternoon ride. It was about 75 degrees and really calm. It felt awesome. I felt surprisingly decent on the bike despite not having ridden much lately. I guess the ~100 miles of walking I feel like I've done over the last week helped. I'm really enjoying the time change too. 5:20-7:25 pm |

Wed, Mar 28, 2012 - 32.53 mi [Cycling] |
32.53 mi in 01:56:00 hours at 16.83 mi/h on Specialized Tarmac Pro. [Cycling] Needed to get a ride in. The temperature was nice, but it was extremely windy. I took off east of the city, found out the roads suck and then wound back around to A-8005 and took off northeast of the city. 3:45-5:55 p.m. |

Tue, Mar 20, 2012 - 47.24 mi [Cycling] |
47.24 mi in 02:43:00 hours at 17.39 mi/h on Specialized Tarmac Pro. [Cycling] Tuesday ride with Pedro and Fernando, and there was a new guy but I never caught his name. His accent was unbelievably hard to understand. I just didn't have it today. Not riding for almost two weeks didn't help, and I probably shouldn't be too upset about it, but I just had nothing today and I felt like I was constantly holding the guys back. It sucks because the roads we were on were new and awesome but I just couldn't enjoy it. Being sick over the weekend also probably has a lot to do it too. And it was extremely windy, almost forgot that. Felt like Lubbock at times. Gusts of probably 30+. My computer stopped working when we were bombing down a hill at 40+. I'm not sure why, other than that it's a cheap Cateye. I mapped the ride, so the distance is correct, but the time is estimated. 4:05 - 7:00 p.m. |

Thu, Mar 8, 2012 - 39.57 mi [Cycling] |
39.57 mi in 02:10:00 hours at 18.26 mi/h on Specialized Tarmac Pro. [Cycling] Met at our normal meeting spot, but nobody showed up. Pedro had told me on Tuesday that he wasn't going to make it, and Fernando told me he was riding MTB yesterday, but I guess he said he wasn't going to make it today also and I just didn't understand. Took A-8005 up north a little ways past La Monta and turned around at SE-4101 and came back the same way. 4:10-6:40 p.m. |
