Still getting used to riding fixed, I kept my feet on the whole time at least. I had to slow for some corners, and maxed out in a couple straights where I was bouncing a little bit on the seat ~29ish. I found my leg muscles were very sore so I had to use my brakes a little more to slow down.
Front crank/chainring is creaking when I slow down, I need to tighten everything up so nothing pops off.

First fixed commute, and it's monday so I happen to bring my trailer along. My cadence was in the 60s with the trailer, I tried my best to not use my brakes but the extra weight was more than I could handle coming down linden towards Danny Thomas so I grabbed some brake. Made the right before the forum and thought my pedal was going to hit so I tried to "coast" and yea my feet went flying off, not too bad, should have used the brakes. Fun ride in though, more upper body work out too. Saw a really bad wreck on linden where it sweeps south and hits peabody. Ambulance, and no drivers around, front windshield was broken out of both cars. Saw a commuter at Central HS, and he followed until the Forum.
Commute home:
Went over to Mikes so we could get out to the trails so I took parkway, the trailer makes people get out of my lane, and I never get crowded. Maybe a "baby on board" sign would top it all off. Mike's pedals were too tight to get off so we didn't end up riding. Played some Wii, and then headed home, grabbed some dinner and swam for about an hour.

It was almost all over on the first lap when I sprinted up to as fast as I could go and then I tried to coast. I was DFL for almost everything, but I got used to riding fixed pretty quick. I think I'll put a freewheel on for commuting and keep it as a Single speed so there is less maintenance. (53Tx18T)

We took a slightly different route than I'm used too and went through a park and came out a little farther down presidents island. Pretty good ride kept up with the lead group for most of the ride, and when I fell back they hit a stop light so not bad overall.
A couple stray dogs rain out on 3rd st. After they ran back another one came out full speed and went for Chase, and Dennis T-boned the dog (on his fixed gear) and he flew off his bike slide for a second, then got out of the way so he didn't get hit. His phone was in about 6 pieces, and he was bleeding, but he pushed on and stayed in front the rest of the ride.
