40.67 mi in 02:00:00 hours at 20.34 mi/h on Orbea Opal. [Cycling] 1st place! 2008 University Road Race. Cat 3. Started race with 60ish guys. Felt ok throughout the 15 lap race. Went with 1 lap to go, got clear and hammered down the final descent hoping to keep the 30-45 second gap I got in the final 1/2 mile of the climb. Rounded the corner with 1/2 mile uphill to finish and wheels came off. Struggled all the way to the line but kept the group off me! Great day!
