I set out to do 20km R/T to Bebenhausen and ended up with 45km due to a 'minor' detour West towards Herrenberg. It got dark and I couldn't see signs or recognized the names on them. Finally found a map which showed I was way off and got myself on a trail to Hildrizhausen (3 hrs later). Saw a deer, a fox and heard lots of critters moving around as I passed. Very quiet night, lots of stars, windy but not really cold 50s. Glad I made it back home tonight...thought I might have to sleep in the forest :) |

I felt great, stayed hydrated and try really hard to keep up with Jim :) |
