Thought I might have to walk it home, but popped tire off, wiped down inside of tire and put a patch on the cut. Put tire back on, aired it up, and it held so continued my ride. Probably lost a bit of air over rest of ride. Out to Fisherville, and out to Hiway 196, then down to Macon and back in past Herbs to home

124.22 mi in 09:58:00 hours at 12.46 mi/h on Gary Fisher Rig 29er SS. [Cycling] IRONBUTT 100 + Great day, 20 starters, 10 finishers. Rode it on my SS. Rode bike to and from the ride, so a gas free day. Little tough getting on bike after great post ride meal at Chris', and carrying my clothes bag and brownie pans!
Only fall was when I looking ahead at a distant creek crossing and missed the huge hole in front of me!
Picked up a 3" nail after leaving Stanky on the roads. Went in dead center of my tread and exited out sidewall just above rim. New tube and some CO2 and it held up rest of day. Thanks Cal for waiting on me.
