As I was riding into HInesburg, a flock of Canada geese decided to take off from the field where they were grazing. The whole group flew right next to me, honking and flapping until they gained altitude.

Rode and climbed well today...what a beautiful day. A Flycatcher dive-bombed me from behind in Monkton, only 15 minutes into the ride. She/He was pissed.

Lots of leaf litter and trees down, including a pair of ancient maples uprooted that toppled near a house...hopefully no damage.

Hot day, but we lucked out on the climbs and the would-be hot sections as cloud cover was our savior. Good ride, climbed pretty well...plenty of power.
