But loading up the car, then unloading and going instead of just heading out of the basement made for a pretty cold start...maybe the coldest I've felt so far. But the home stretch was warmer...and I didn't have to ride 'the hill'. |

I'm pretty lucky that I stay relatively warm had to ride 'Butter' today because the 'Nova' had a valve flat. Nice tailwind coming in...left later than usual in the afternoon which made for a darker ride, but as the sun goes down, the wind dies down. |

Some spots were dicey enough to support my decision to ride the 'Team' and I had to ride the bike path even though there was crust allover it. Cold enough for ice covered puddles but a nice south wind made pedaling with the added weight of the tires easier. |
