Still overcast and a very light drizzle this morning but after the torrential rain of yesterday this morning is very nice. The roads are starting to dry out and it is supposed to clear later so I took the chance and rode the trike and even without the fenders I remained dry with very little road spray. Apparently we broke local rainfall records for a single August day yesterday which does surprise me as the rain just poured off me very soon after getting on the bike for both morning and evening commutes.

I know it seems strange to say this on the wet coast of Canada, but it felt very "foreign" to be wearing rain gear and riding in the rain this morning which was heavy at times. We haven't had this kind of rainfall in months. I rode my Trek FX 7.5 as I have to repair the fenders on my trike before I can ride it in the rain.

3.04 mi in 00:16:56 hours at 10.79 mi/h on ActionBent T1A. [Cycling] My commute home from work. I felt a little iffy late this afternoon so I decided to take the direct route home. As it turned out by the time I got on the bike I was feeling much better and it felt like a strong ride home.
