Turned around at some school/park parking lot. ~55F, some heavy winds, wore PI long sleeved base, Discovery jersey, bibs, knee warmers. Felt pretty good whole time. The PI base got a little moist and was kind of cold in the shade coming home. Might want to invest in a better long sleeved base layer. Brooks still not broken in. Felt ok, getting over bronchitis so a little rough, but still spun well on the flats and descended a little better by using the drops more.
13.51 mi in 01:09:18 hours at 11.70 mi/h on Seven Alaris. [Cycling] 7th to market to 17th st up and around twin peaks to to Golden Gate Park, then back up and around twin peaks back down to 18th to Valencia to 16th to home.
54F, Wore Craft baselayer, PI Long sleeved baselayer, Google jersey, shorts, knee warmers, one pair of socks. Probably didn't need the two baselayers, a thick long sleeved one would have been perfect. Also my toes got cold so a 2nd pair of socks or toe covers. Note: 17th street becomes a 17% grade... next time I will make it to the top instead of 3/4 and hitting side streets.
54.13 mi in 03:44:16 hours at 14.48 mi/h on Seven Alaris. [Cycling] Rode out to Mill Valley, up to four corners. Met Rob. Was cloudy and around 50. Wore craft shirt, jersey, arm warmers, and discovery long sleeved jersey, shorts w/ knee warmers. Perfect for decent, arm warmers were a little too much for climbs. Maybe a long sleeved base layer would have been better.
