Not much to report and not many people out although I played chicken with a bunny rabbit on FLT. Wind got up on the way home just in time for the Whitebridge climb pffftttttt......buried myself and crested at 31km/hr but a disappointing time, kept telling myself "just turn the pedals, pedal faster it's not that f*cking hard Carmen!!!". Still a great ride with my baby and looking forward to SMRR now :)

[Cycling] An early morning start due to Ella's b'day and after making sure both munchkins were at school I headed for Swansea on my baby, dark clouds hovering over me. Head wind on the way down made sure I was dogging it into the wind and just managed to sit on 24km/hr. Turned around and WOOT!!!!! tail wind all the way home sitting on 38km/hr and felt like it took me 5 mins to get back to Belmont. Hit the FLT with speed, toasted a guy up the climb and recorded a PB with Strava yayyyyyy!!! Smashed this ride and feel great for it. Another awesome ride on my baby.
34.08 mi in 01:59:05 hours at 17.17 mi/h on Giant Avail Advanced 2. [Cycling] Met Napalm, Guru, Lamb and BMO for SMRR. Knew from the beginning that the pace would be faster than usual but managed to keep up, felt a bit better on the climbs although the boys were taking it easy on me. Nothing to report, tail wind home and great coffee as always (although I always seem to get mine last). Great ride, beautiful weather and great company.
