Was cramping pretty bad by then. My first century. |

[Cycling] I waited until I couldn't wait anymore and then donned my wet biking clothes from yesterday and went out in the drizzle. Went through my neighborhood, took some tiny roads by the railroad tracks, went through the neighborhood across the tracks, crossed Easton then was headed up Panther Way, spotted a sidewalk connector to the neighborhood across from the high school. Meandered back home. Fun being out in the drizzly, misty day. Everything looked mysterious and meaningful. |

Rode up with Elliot's group to Carversville Day. Enjoyed the pet parade and cookout. Missed out on the cookie contest. Came back with Howard's group so we could continue after and add some miles. Chatted about the Bonton, bike wives and whether the tasks or the people at the job are more important. |

We got to ride on Kelly Drive, which was closed to cars for the Stoetesbury Regatta. Passed a group of cyclists assembling for the ceremonial ride to work with the mayor on this special Bike to Work day. Chatted about Amy's visiting parents and activities they might like. |
