31.19 mi in 01:43:00 hours at 18.17 mi/h on Opera Super Leonardo. [Cycling] Eventually made it to the start after getting the 1st of many flats. Joined Guru, Ellviner, CCI & Napalm on a great summer's morning for a SMRR. Saw the Cobwebs at Sandgate & mowing them down & managed to get to the Hexham turnoff before my 2nd flat. Thanks Guru for pumping it up with one of those pump thingies (no CO2 left) Telstra Hill was uncontested & I had my 3rd flat at the top. Phoenix Sprint was just won by Napalm & it was good to have Ellviner back in contention. Brewery Sprint was also won by Napalm, showing some arrogance as he trash talked me across the line. NOB Sprint was also Napalm's after an early break by Guru with Ellviner easily holding the A graders wheel. Coffee at 2300 then home to patch a lot of tubes & change some tyres. A great ride on a great summers day. Thanks for the tubes guys.

22.99 mi in 01:09:00 hours at 19.99 mi/h on Opera Super Leonardo. [Cycling] A race of many firsts. 1st race on new bike, 1st race I get spat. 1st race this year I won't get a mention in the paper.
21.93 mi in 01:08:00 hours at 19.35 mi/h on Opera Super Leonardo. [Cycling] Another top summer's day to head out for some Love on my new, just arrived, Opera Super Leonardo with Ellviner. Plenty out today & nearly as many women as men. A wheel sucker sat in until Whitebridge where he thought he'd go around & try to lose us on the downhill. We sat a little way back & I let him know I was close with my new & very loud, Fulcrum Race 1 wheel-set ratchet. By time we got to Jewells, he was a spent force & by Belmont he was AWOL. Heading back, Ellviner was looking for him crying in the bush. All of a sudden he was back on our wheels at Jewells & went past us just before the R2W climb. We let him go & had him in our sights again by the top. We all stopped at Burwood Rd for traffic & he wasn't able to match The G-Bros acceleration & was not seen again. Great ride, earning me three top 5 Strava segments, on a great afternoon on my new favorite ride.
