70.09 mi in 04:52:31 hours at 14.38 mi/h on Cannondale Carbon Synapse Feminine 4 Rival. [Cycling] It was still cool and overcast this morning, but no drizzle (thank goodness). I was able shed the jacket at one of the first rest stops, and the sun eventually came out. Originally wanted to ride the century, but the legs weren't willing. Got back and had 68 miles, so we did an extra little out-and-back to round up the mileage. Damn those round numbers!

We left in a misty drizzle this morning, which evolved into a steady drizzle. I had to keep the jacket on all day long, and I was wishing I had worn knickers instead of shorts. We had a new route this year, and it was very nice. We still went to Eatonton, but we didn't go to Rock Eagle. Stopped on the side of the road to watch a cow that may or may not have given birth either right before or right after we stopped. Quote of the day: "Not that one, the one that came out of the BACK end."
8.69 mi in 00:41:39 hours at 12.52 mi/h on Cannondale Carbon Synapse Feminine 4 Rival. [Cycling] I had to ride to the visitors' center to register, and I wanted to tool around some more. This was all I could manage without my cycling shoes, though. Note to self: put extra pair of cycling shoes in RV.
62.93 mi in 04:02:39 hours at 15.56 mi/h on Cannondale Carbon Synapse Feminine 4 Rival. [Cycling] I did this ride mainly because I knew the t-shirt would be awesome. And then it was ORANGE! Arrrrgggghhhh!!! The course was awesome, though, just as much fun as I remember it being in 2006. It isn't often I can say I rode my bike in two different states on the same day.
45.74 mi in 03:09:13 hours at 14.50 mi/h on Cannondale Carbon Synapse Feminine 4 Rival. [Cycling] Wanted to get some miles in, but didn't want to get too far from home. (No, I don't know why either. Maybe in case I changed my mind?) Riding loops fulfilled both goals. Gorgeous day, perfect weather. Stopped at the same little church to rest in the shade, and I found a water spigot around back to refill my water bottle. Is that considered stealing? From a CHURCH?
