30.05 mi in 02:22:16 hours at 12.67 mi/h on Cheapo Mountain Bike. [Cycling] Loved this rails-to-trail bike path, only 5 miles from my daughter's house. Very much like the Silver Comet - paved, but not lined. Mileage is marked, several trailheads. Not to self: insect repellant a MUST if you're going to ride this trail again. The entire trail is 14.5 miles, which gave a total of 29 for the entire distance. Naturally as a member of the round numbers club, I went back another half mile to get my 30.

12.03 mi in 01:19:59 hours at 9.02 mi/h on Cheapo Mountain Bike. [Cycling] REALLY didn't want to get out there in the heat, but I REALLY did want to add a few miles. Made some road loops for easier miles.
11.68 mi in 01:36:33 hours at 7.26 mi/h. [Cycling] Further proof that mountain biking is not my thing. There were some advantages over road biking: no traffic, shade, lots of options for routes without getting far from home, benches where I could stop and rest. It's a tough way to get (not quite) 12 miles, though. Jezebel better hurry and come home from the bike shop.
65.25 mi in 04:04:02 hours at 16.04 mi/h on Cannondale Carbon Synapse Feminine 4 Rival. [Cycling] Awesome, awesome ride. It was very well organized, had a HUGE turnout, and the route was excellent. No major hills at all. Which is probably a good thing, since my shifter broke with 6 miles to go, and I had to finish in my hardest gear. Beautiful weather, good post-ride meal, everything was wonderful.
40.26 mi in 03:02:38 hours at 13.23 mi/h on Cannondale Carbon Synapse Feminine 4 Rival. [Cycling] I hadn't ridden in 6 days. The early part of the week was due to weather, and the latter part due to laziness. I didn't feel great, but that may be because I didn't leave until almost 11:00 AM. Took a couple of breaks, once at the church and once at a store. I also chose some roads I hadn't ridden before. I added a Rozmo Loop at the end to round up to 40 miles. I hope I feel better (and ride better) than this tomorrow.
