Second ride of the week, only one after our 15" first day of Spriing surprise. Hard interval efforts, up to 155% of max--- 14.12.10 reps, short intervals...tough...not the worst one we have done though. Next to last club indoor ride...8 of us alternating others in. |

21.38 mi in 01:01:02 hours at 21.02 mi/h on S Works- Aerotec 5. [Cycling] About 40 mixed 4s 5s. Started fast...I was at the back. Some rolling hiils, one sharp turn at the bottom, some yo yo effect...suffered for my slow start. Cat 4s etc. hammering it. Split the group. I hustled and got my act together..wind, hills, carrying momentum. Did my fair share of pulls. Move to 2nd in our grup of 20, a lot dropped out of the race from other areas, etc...pushed the pace the last lap....sprinted out of the corner into a hill, never let up...well almost...and I beat 19 of them...one guy, maybe a cat 4 from somewhere beat me at the line...but, i was glad for my effort and "training" success...first USA "race" of the year. No results posted I think. New shifters and D.A fr. Der. on late last night...11:30 LONG drive to the Plymouth, MA |
