62.32 mi in 03:40:00 hours at 17.00 mi/h. [Cycling] Assault On Mt. Morrow---over 125 riders showed for the FREE ride--3 SAG stops--nice things to eat---and little traffic. About 5 teams had racers there--so of course--I just had to go to the front---actually hung 14.83 miles--at a horrible pace--then the two loooong hills at Frog Pond and I was history. In the 2nd group for another 20 miles and then Morrow Mt.
This is a well support, fast paced ride--and FREE---next one June 21---plan it---we needed more than me representing Pfeiffer---need you guys that always have super high averages on all your rides to show up and land a blow to the Charlotte racer types!!! Wait to you see the hill on Austin toward Burris--OMG !!! |
