46.70 mi on Giant OCR 2. [Cycling] Assembled at Nobby's for the Giro d'Maitland with BoB (brother of bunter) and the Maitland crew. Everything was going to plan until the Hexham straight when the heavens opened. Got to the cafe at Lorn in a filthy & sodden state, although the return leg was dry (mostly). Unfortunately one of the peloton had a stack on the greasy roundabout at the Crown Plaza, bike and rider OK, albeit missing some bark and sure to be black & blue tonight.

19.88 mi on Giant OCR 2. [Cycling] Love Track with Viner. Stolen car abandoned on the track near Red Head provided something unusual to look at. A large group of walkers gathered at the entrance of the tunnel for a mid-track chat, not withstanding everyone else was forced to hit the dirt to go around them. Why they couldn't move to the side for a chin-wag has got me buggered.
22.80 mi on Giant OCR 2. [Cycling] Usual Tuesday route into town with Viner. Passed the hill squad at Adamstown. Not much to report other than plenty of sporty lycra jogging up & down Bar Beach Hill. Note to self; watch the bloody road!
46.60 mi on Giant OCR 2. [Cycling] Met the Maitland crew and brother of Eurobunter at Nobbys for the Giro d'Maitland. Beautiful morning to be out and the bike bunches were everywhere. There was pace on for the run into the high country, however following a coffee at Lorn, the return leg was rather sedate. Tip; there is a very nasty magpie on Maitland Road at Warabrook, but don't worry I'm not resorting to cable ties on the helmet (not very euro).
25.63 mi on Giant OCR 2. [Cycling] Met Ellviner and sampled the delights of the love track. Not much to report other than we linked up with GD on the return leg. All good.
