18.02 mi on Giant OCR 2. [Cycling] I'm over daylight saving. Headed out into the morning darkness for a solo lap of Watt Street, KEP, return ascent of Mem Drive, followed by another Watt St for good measure. Not too many out, stiff northerly blowing and gloomy skies. The fluro euro will be absent from SMRR, as I’ve arranged a surprise 40th birthday cake for little brother to be served at coffee on Saturday for the Maitland peloton.
27.96 mi on Giant OCR 2. [Cycling] After feeling very dejected following the aborted SMRR, the weather held off for long enough to meet Toasted for an easy FLT, although the howling southerly didn't help on the way down. Nice to stretch the legs on an otherwise ordinary day.
