23.61 mi on Giant OCR 2. [Cycling] Post origin depression was shrugged off by meeting Guru for an early morning lap of the love track ahead of pending east coast low. A pleasant & uneventful ride until the very end at the Park Ave crossing, where brief lapse of awareness saw my front wheel get crossed up on some uneven pavement and the rider get a little out of shape. Luckily I didn’t hit the bitumen or have the need to try on Guru's neck brace. The Col comes home from the doctor today.
21.75 mi on Giant OCR 2. [Cycling] Usual Tuesday loop with Eliviner. Very little to report, saw NJ and hill crew, MG had a chain malfunction, I sustained a slow flat, random wheel sucker tailed us up Mem Drive and into Wharf Rd, otherwise a pleasant morning out.
24.85 mi on Giant OCR 2. [Cycling] Man flu claimed Elviner so I set off solo on SMRR. Easy lone run to Hexham, back into town, coffee at 2300, then Watt Street, beaches and off to junior netball & rugby. Still managed 40km for the morning on the old Giant OCR 2, but no PR’s claimed today. The Col will be back from the doctor next week, can’t wait to bond after a period of absence.
22.37 mi on Giant OCR 2. [Cycling] Met Elviner for the usual mid-week run into town and around the hills & beaches. Not much to report, just cold, overcast & gloomy. New rim for the Col being rebuilt, hopefully here for the weekend.
