30.14 mi in 01:33:00 hours at 19.45 mi/h on Trek 5400. [Cycling] Tuesday night training ride, good turn out with a decent number of fast guys despite the dark rain clouds. We did the inner loop at a steady 19-20 mph shooting the breeze with the local cat 3 we didn't pay attention to the pace we set. The pace picked up pretty quick once we made the "anything goes" corner. The pace was yo-yo style 23-27, No big deal, not sure if clay attacked or the guys in the middle of the paceline gapped off but 2 guys went up the road. After a struggling paceline to bring them back I made the final hard pull to close gap we also went from a group of 9 to a group of 6. We stayed steady 25-26 I felt good but I came off my last rotation on the front and found it hard to focus on the road...stupid dizzy spell out of nowhere!! I nearly knocked over Dr. Andrews and Bert trying to get back in the line at that point I pulled out and soft pedal in...gotta figure this out!!! :( |

Slow start and stayed slow well past the halfway mark, attempted to pick up the pace some since I had to work this morning but it didn't hold till the last few miles. I think I need to start things sooner so the morning ride is more beneficial...looks like I'll be ruffling feathers! |

It took a little longer than normal to wind up, pace didn't pick up till the last few miles on 340. My efforts in closing a couple of gaps left 5 of us going up the road to the final turn where I always seem to lose touch. |
