Run to work, nice easy go.....bit chilly at the start but a good sunrise over Torquay Esplanade.... Idiot on Corio St, tried to pull out of side road with sun in his eyes and window covered in condensation and pulled out as he could not see, he got a good blast of 120 dB AirZound !! Why not just wind down the window, Australians..... - Nice easy cruise home, it was hot & sunny, good run.... The coarse chip on Horseshoe is still power sapping !! Nice and sunny at Torquay !! |

All the Ford crew are busy MTBing so a solo run on the Moose.....it's been a while....bit wobbly to start with so stuck to quiet roads, started with a monster hill and then just took it easy, good muffin and tea at Moriac General Store, then out to Barwon Heads...... Passed a few upwrong bikers..... Lots of good comments on the mad Moose.... 2 bad car drivers but now I have the Go Pro so might take a still image and get the rego and tell the local cops..... |

[Cycling] Vortex#19 - Commute#8 - anoChilly morning, all going well until Barwon Heads Road, glass everywhere on the cyclepath/shoulder (thanks Bogan driver for beer bottle) in a 1m diameter splat - cars passing so not possible to swerve into the road so 2 wheels on grass and front right thru it......instant puncture.......bike on side, remove tube & tyre, 6mm gash in tyre, spare tube fitted, patch inside of tyre, all done in 5 minutes.....return was windy, headwind on Horseshoebend along with nice fresh coarse chip surface really sucking away my speed..... :-( Feeling like tired legs but heart low on ride home......ther flaming puncture.... |
