65.98 mi en 03:51:20 horas a 17.11 mi/h por ICE Vortex FS. [Ciclismo] Vortex#35-Blackgate Saunter 100km AUDAX. My second AUDAX ride - felt harder than the 150km GOR AUDAX to be honest....the run out to Moriac was good, struggled to keep up with Rick (Musashi) and no chance keeping up with John on the M5 Carbon.... The run from Moriac back to Grovedale was fast and smooth :-) After some soup we headed back down Horseshoebend and to Ocean Grove - met Brendon from work on the road - strong Northerly so the return was hard work, the last 20km was just hard into the wind and at times dropped to 20kph :-( Met another bunch of good people !! Good tea and toasties and great pumpkin soup, not so much cake this time around, I think all the 50km riders ate everything ;-) |

32.17 mi en 01:48:32 horas a 17.78 mi/h por ICE Vortex FS. [Ciclismo] Vortex#34-13th Beach and back - quick squirt - new cassette fitted. The replacement ICE rear cassette arrived, easy job removing the old bent & mangled one and fitting the new shiny straight one....on the stand I could get all 10 gears, woo hoo, it's been a while to have that many, it's been 7 reliably for the last 500km or so... The ride was good, sun shining, bit of a SE'ly.... nice average considering taking it easy, gears shifted well, little bit of tuning still needed and the odd mis-shift over bumps ?? |

37.82 mi en 02:14:39 horas a 16.85 mi/h por ICE Vortex FS. [Ciclismo] Vortex#33-Barwon Heads via Lake Rd. The weather looked grim but still no rain by 2.30pm so thought I'd head out for a ride. Bit of a SW'erly.... Some really idiot car drivers, lost of AirZounding today, people just do not look, they reverse without looking over their shoulders ?? Once clear of Torquay things got better and a quick squirt up Horseshoebend and then Boundary to pick up Lake Rd, then onwards to Barwon Heads.....the return into the headwind was challenging, gear still shitting me as they hop and skip like a barsteward, bent sprockets, grrr..... Got home to find warranty parts from ICE, new rear mudgaurd, new rear cassette & tool and some tubing..... I am swapping rear cassettes tonight :-) |

The front tyres have been rotated......rear sprocket/cassette straightened as best as possible but still skipping like you would never believe (there had been 3 bent teeth). Headwind was a real pig even low down, sidewind battered me and wind noise was terrible.... Good to get out for a ride ! |

Cruisy ride, westerly pushed along 13th Beach Road at 40kph, usually that always feels uphill and slow. Cold on the hands, must get some gloves, colder when we stopped for tea & coffee..... Headwind on the return... Feeling slow, prolly due to stag do 2 days before and drinking way too much beer ! |
