23.60 mi in 02:01:00 hours at 11.70 mi/h on Orbea Lonzo 29er. [Cycling] XC race @ RCP. No other women in my category so treated as a Time-Trial. Went down on the big drop on loop 7. Walked it the 2nd lap. Lost time on Loop 7 both laps, but was able to hammer down and catch back up. Have not been able to ride at all & quads were burning for several minutes at the start. Start was delayed & so it was a cold start. Was not in the top group into the singletrack this time. Was an OK performance for not being able to train since August
10.00 mi in 00:51:17 hours at 11.70 mi/h on Orbea Lonzo 29er. [Cycling] Short ride to get outside & on the bike. Glad I hit RCP, some minor changes that will change up some of my lines that I normally ride for the race in a couple of weeks
34.40 mi in 05:15:15 hours at 6.55 mi/h on Orbea Lonzo 29er. [Cycling] No Pain No Gain 6hr race at Solavoca Ranch Very cold morning (low 40's) at start. Have not been able to ride or train so was really doing this for fun & DBW sponsored the Women's purse. Jogged the LeMans start & hit the singletrack midpack. Typical congestion at the 1st climb. Uneventful 1st lap. 2nd lap much quicker & felt much better. 3rd lap helped a fellow rider that gashed his knee then I took a hard fall. Black knees to prove it. Took a break in the pits to rub & stretch the bruises out. It was during this break that I found out that there were 5 of us racing, not just Pam & I like I was told before the start. Took off for 4th lap. Stopped twice to help a fellow rider who took a serious fall & cracked her helmet. Would find out later that she was the rider in front of me. Legs were getting tired. Forgot how many short power climbs this trail has. Finished lap with enough time to start another, but I needed to get back to Dallas for previously made plans. Ended up 4th out of 5. Had an OK performance. Could have pushed a little harder & may have moved up to 3rd, but was not in shape to be competitive against Pam Jackson. HR avg off because so cold, it took a while for my monitor to accurately pick up my HR
