It's been a great bike- RtR2010, 6 buff classics, Triple Bypass2011, LeftHandCanyon4x, DeerCreekChallenge2011, HiLine2x, LH Canyon 4x, & numerous rides with my son.
Highlights:
1.Top speed coming off Olde Stage 56mph pacing a pro on a top-shelf Mercyx
2. 31mph going uphill on Baseline with a 25+mph tailwind
3. several 20mi training spins @ 32mph
4. Chasing down a guy 2x on Foothills riding @ 28mph & having him explode in a 'roid rage fury because I caught him!
5. Last day of RtR2010 pacelining @ 21-24mph from Alamosa to Salida & drilling Poncha Pass at 20mph.
6. Numerous wildlife encounters- fox, pelicans, coyotes, fortunately no skunks.
7. >25K in commuting miles after I bought it used.
8. Able to sling it whenever I wanted- a great responsive ride.
9. Buff Classic GF w/ son & ~5+ riders in a paceline @>20mph the last 15 miles. Best one ever. No mechanicals.
10. Aaron was stoked to get the rig- like a kid at Christmas. |
