Nice thing about solo efforts is not having to keep up with someone else, but riding in YOUR comfort zone. I felt rejuvinated and refreshed after the ride, and I made it home in time to put on dinner, relax, and watch Hells Kitchen. Only had one minor heckler tonight (a few young girls driving by in their hoopty). Perfect weather. Just perfect. The perfect remedy to another shitty day at work. Just what the doctor ordered! Started a little after 6pm and got back at sunset.

[Cycling] i rode like shit tonight. as soon as the pace picked up, i felt drained. this bronchitis or whatever the hell i have is continuing to have an effect on my cycling performance. also my pedals need to be adjusted because my cleats are shifting around in the pedals and i'm losing power and it's causing my knees to wobble which is probably one of the reasons i feel like all my power is getting lost somewhere. will need to go to the bike shop and see if they can offer suggestions or i need new pedals. the cleats are practically brand new.

Some head wind, but felt better than that hot, sticky humid 90+ degree heat we had last week. Turn out for ride sucked, but I didn't post the ride till after 3pm this afternoon - so understandable.
