37.50 mi in 02:42:01 hours at 13.89 mi/h on Trek Pilot 5.0. [Cycling] Road with T & Jim from Keeneland to the Woodford Reserve Distillery outside of Versailles. Barely saw a car on the way out, and didn't have much traffic till we got back to the track. A little shower rolled through when we took the tour, but it cleared up for the ride back. T was the big winner @ the track with 4 winners in 9 races! No tickets cashed for TJ! On the 12th race, Jim bet "June Cleaver" and she came in @ 3-1. Had a camera malfunction, so didn't get any pictures.
17.59 mi in 01:24:04 hours at 12.55 mi/h on Scott CR1. [Cycling] Another beautiful Spring day in Blairsville. We went for a ride down old 76 to the little church in Hemptown. About 1 mile before the church, T got a flat front tire. My fault because I just replaced her tube the day prior. As we're fixing the tire Anne shows up in a big diesel pickup. Fixed the tire and headed home. Temp in the upper 70s/low 80s.
12.30 mi in 01:01:35 hours at 11.98 mi/h on Scott CR1. [Cycling] The usual after work ride with T on a beautiful evening. Temperatures were in the upper 70s and sunny. There was little wind, but one of those rides which always felt you were going into a head wind. Terri broke the valve on her original front tire tube while pumping her tires. She road on it without issue.
16.51 mi in 01:08:50 hours at 14.39 mi/h on Scott CR1. [Cycling] T and I went to Alpharetta to do some shopping, so we through the bikes on the rack too. After shopping we road the Big Creek Greenway. Parked in the lot behind Ethan Allen on North Point. First did the Roswell loop, then did the north ride down and back from Marconi Blvd. Cloudy, and we just got back to the van before it started raining. Not very crowded. Very lush, green, and peaceful.
13.63 mi in 01:08:54 hours at 11.87 mi/h on Scott CR1. [Cycling] Fun ride with T on the back roads of Blairsville. I stayed on her back wheel and just followed her around. We enjoyed the lack of traffic, and the peacefulness. It was fun going down roads in a direction we usually don't.
26.61 mi in 02:40:19 hours at 9.96 mi/h on Trek 7.3 Fx Hybrid. [Cycling] First ride on the FX of the year. Road to the top of Skeenah Gap and took a right on Fire Road 641. It meandered 7miles to Rt. 60. Started to rain lightly when I reached Rt. 60, and didn't stop. Strong headwind on the return run on Skeenah. Temps in the lower 60s at start, but dropped to the upper 50s when it rained. Had a delicious PB&J sandwich at the little church at the end of Skeenah Gap.
