Rode back west, via the Greenbelt to the Urbandale trail system and caught up with jc on the tandem. We came back down the trails to the Farmer's Market and had a breakfast burrito and root beer for lunch and watched them break down the booths. Why doesn't this go on all afternoon? I think it would be well-attended.
Afterward, I rode back alone (jc took the truck with family), passed my house and picked up my repaired seatpost bracket at the hardware store. Unfortunately, the guy tapped a std. bolt so I'll have to put another tool in my pouch. I still have to file down the teeth on the friction binders because they appear to have been very rounded even when new. |
