37.82 mi in 02:06:16 hours at 17.97 mi/h on Redline Conquest. [Cycling] Getting a bit soft so I had to take a spin down the GW. 1st trip to Martensdale this year. Felt strong. Passed everyone I saw. Stopped under the pavilion to have a chat with a guy who said he'd retired and done over 2600 miles on his Gary Fisher hybrid this year.
MapMyRide shows 38.55 for mileage. Need to calibrate bike comp for new slicks.
Still having some trouble keeping my seat level. I might need a larger frame because I like having the seat back, but the leverage applied to the substandard (?) seatpost mount keeps allowing it to go down. I was able to minimize by pushing the seat a bit forward, and cranking it down, but that's how I stripped it in the first place. Now I think I need to raise the seat a bit to compensate. |
