[Cycling] Got a call saying the Pom wanted to head to Sugarloaf, my lack of climbing lately concerned me, after slogging it out to the base via Glendale against the wind my fears were realized. Popped on the ramp and had to walk for a while.The Pom and Lamb showed impressive form.
High tailed it back to tha Nags with a tailwind where our favourite barmaid announced shes moving to Perth. |

30.82 mi on Viner Magnifica. [Cycling] First smrr for a long time with Euro and Lamb.Usual route with all sprints neutralised due to the small grouppo.Got passed at some lights at steel river and panicked as we thought we'd been "chicked", a desperate chase saw us make the catch after Pheonix where we noted said chick was a feminine looking guy. Great coffee and chat at 2300 where a nosey waitress tried to spy on Euros's phone.
Off to netball to watch CG on the way home and earn more father of the year points looking devilishly handsome in full TDS kit. |

Did a few laps of rough love at the RC before nestling into the generous bosom of the love track with Lamb and Euro.No wild life and only a few diehard punters out tonight. Temp dropped considerably along the way. |

20.51 mi on Viner Road Bike Deda R1. [Cycling] After pulling the pin on Euro a couple of times recently I didnt feel I could do it again. But he could have done it to me!! True winter ride today on the Luv track to keep out of the arctic wind (of course).Quite a few people out considering, many appeared to smile but pretty sure they were grimacing.Fulcrum 4 wheels debuted and could feel a bit more spring in the old wog bitch. |

21.81 mi on Viner Road Bike Deda R1. [Cycling] An innocuous enough start to the weekly evening ride, nice pace south with Lamb and Guru who brought a knife to a gunfight (mtb). On the return we noted a possible hard charger ahead and were then passes by a Hubbard needing a lesson.
The Charger, Lamb and I jumped on the Hubbard , Guru with more knitting bones than Evil Kinevil and on a mtb got snapped. Hubbard popped at Redhead, Charger smashed scum rises (thanks 4 new pb) and then Lamb launched a withering attack up to Whitebridge. I sat in dodging bits of bitumen and rubber being spat up by Lamb. The charger turned his light off and we thought he was gone but with 500mtrs to go he hit the lumens and the gas,I was gone, Lamb chased.Even with a blown gasket from there on recorded a great time.
