55.30 mi on Trek 5200. [Cycling] Rode over to the 'gang for the vets invitational - first time in a few months. Good turnout in all grades due to fantastic weather. 6 fairly uneventful laps apart from the usual break away attempts. Altogether at the end for a sprinters win. NJ would surely have placed (except he's now in A-grade). One of the older guys (Matt Brown's dad, I think) landed on the deck and stayed there for at least 3 laps after crashing in the start/finish area...ambulance called but no update as yet. Rode back with Lewy, Linc, Whitey etc and then caught up with the Loveboat briefly thru New Lambton. |

35.42 mi on Trek 5200. [Cycling] A rare outing with TDS this morning, joining Guru, NJ and Toasted for a few kms around town. NJ led me perfectly up the cemetary climb with the intend of claiming KOM - mission accomplished! All other sprints led won by TDS's top sprinter and A-grader elect. Coffee back at 2300 and ride back via approved route. |

18.64 mi on Trek 5200. [Cycling] Another week rolls by and another attempt at the weekly world champs. Numbers down slightly this week but the pace was still high. Tried to make a couple of breaks but as usual got caught. NJ took the honours (well done mate) and now ascends into A-grade to rub shoulders with the other sprinting hard men. |

32.81 mi on Trek 5200. [Cycling] Met up with LA and the boys at Hadleys for a reverse run of the hills ride. Very warm and humid (27C, Wallsend). Felt good on the climbs but tired towards the end. Did a couple of laps of the racecourse to clock up 1,000kms for the month and then home. |

27.90 mi on Trek 5200. [Cycling] Just a fairly short ride out to the beaches and back thru' Sandgate - Wallsend - Elermore Vale. Strava back up and running ok after reloading app on my phone. |
