21.13 mi on Trek 5200. [Cycling] 1 and 1/2 warm up laps of the gang before the last Friday nighter of the season. A fairly good turnout in great conditions. Tried to break clear on the 2nd lap but the wind played against me. Sprinters finish...I finished about 8th. An enjoyable race. TDS well represented with NJ having a good race in A-grade, the lamb in B and Toasted supporting from the sidelines. |

27.96 mi on Trek 5200. [Cycling] Another great hills ride with the BA boys. Felt pretty strong up Scenic and Brunker but NJ "the sprinter" took the honours on both. The boys dropped down Grandview but decided to do the usual down McCaffery then up Grandview...don't think I've ever riden it before! Finished off with a blast up Myall. |

64.19 mi in 03:16:09 hours at 19.63 mi/h on Trek 5200. [Cycling] Headed out ot the loaf for some altitude action and then back to Minmi, Sandgate etc. Was going to turn back into town as weather was a bit showery but decided to head up to Richardson Rd for the extra kms. Wind was fairly stroing, especially on the return leg back into town. Headed back thru Hamo, lap of the race track then home. New cassette and chain worked a treat - very smooth compared to the old chain I've had for 3 years! Must remember to change it more often...but probably won't be asking NJ to give me a hand ;) |

19.26 mi on Trek 5200. [Cycling] Its Friday night and that can only mean one thing...the 3 lap ritual at Kooragang. Glorious conditions, except for a mild headwind along the back straight. Pace fairly high...managed a brief break with Whitey before we got reeled in my the bunch. Didn't contest the sprint, cruised in just behind the fast guys. |
