[Cycling] I had a bright idea to go out for a spin, met Toasted at the start of the Love Track for a spin down to Belmont and back, just past Jewells on the way down the heavens opened and it pissed down. Slow trip home where it took 10mins in the shower to thaw out my toes. Wet Wet Wet. |

[Cycling] Mid morning ride with Toasted who was a little late due to a slashed tyre, trip down the Love Track into a stiff headwind to Swansea and return, lots of people out on the track, I ran over a pretty big water dragon near Belmont which was not good for the lizard, on the way home with a nice tailwind we caught a "chick" on a MTB who was going pretty quick, Toasted saw RED and it was on until the RTW climb where I took off after about 1km and smashed myself to the top, waited for Toasted who was only concerned that the "chick" did not catch her on the climb, no chance as Toasted was flying, easy cruise back home. |

[Cycling] With rain canelling the usual smrr the text went out from the Bunter for a Sarr, met Toasted, MG, RG and Eurobunter at the start of the Love Track for a spin down to Swansea and return, pace was pretty high from the start as we had a tailwind, the track was still very wet but at least we got a ride in, Nice headwind home with a bit of misty rain, at the start of the RTW climb MG and myself drafted Toasted to try and claim a QOM which she did in style, RG sat on and then smashed himself but alas it was not that good a time due to the headwind. Back to the NH for a rare Saturday afternoon beer, Toasted got many a stare when she entered the bar and ordered a beer, Toasted is now a fully fledged TDS member who is riding stronger and stronger each ride. Great ride with great company. |
