18.00 mi in 02:36:44 hours at 6.89 mi/h on Orbea Lonzo 29er. [Cycling] Big cedar XC race. 2pm (2:30) start. Very hot & humid (95 degrees) No breeze in the trees. Trail dry & loose. Crappy start. Red-lined most of the 1st lap no matter what I did. Did a lot of walking on the climbs & eventually the downhills. Never felt in good control. Fell & slid down one downhill & jacked up LCL on Left knee. Pissed at horrible performance, especially since I can ride/climpb this trail!!!

17.00 mi in 02:05:52 hours at 8.10 mi/h on Orbea Lonzo 29er. [Cycling] Great race!!! 1st off the start then backed off. Held 1st in singletrack for a while, then spun out on a climb & got passed. Slowly worked way back up. Caught up w/2nd place chick on 2nd lap, but Cat 3 guys kept bogging us down & made it difficult to pass. Rocked the climbs!! Rode up the big 1/4 mile switchbacks on 1st lap. Haven't been strong enough to do that before. Off 1st by 3 min & 2nd by <30 sec. Had the fastest 2nd lap. Do believe that if the Cat 3 guys would not have gotten in the way, that I could have definitely taken 2nd & possibly 1st

25.50 mi in 04:00:00 hours at 6.38 mi/h on Orbea Lonzo 29er. [Cycling] Chilly Willie 4hr fund raiser. Had planned to do a 3hr ride at BC and didn't realize that CW was today. Pushed a little harder than I would have if just riding. Only did 3 laps which is what I planned on doing anyway. New trail with a lot more climbing added since Oct. Walked a lot of the climbs. Just didn't have the legs... out of shape, HR too high (180's)? Rear tire would spin out often when powering up climbs. Legs began hinting at cramping on 2nd half of last lap. Good hard ride & able to get an idea of where I'm at
